Bulk Atlantic eyes eco expansion

A top Turkish operator is pressing ahead with plans to expand its stable of eco-friendly handymax, supramax and ultramax bulkers by way of long-term charters with new partners.
Bulk Atlantic is actively looking to forge what Partner and Director Mustafa Atesoglu describes as strategic, long-term alliances with owners of modern eco tonnage.
The operator intends to keep the average age of its fleet as low as possible under a broader bid to maintain a low carbon footprint that’s in-Iine with the IMO’s new emissions standards.
